In 2009 the Peace Country Region had 41 accommodation properties with a total of 3,409 rooms, thus making up 5.4% of rooms available in Alberta. The greatest demand for rooms came from business travellers at 40.4%. They were followed by industrial crews at 37.7%. The average occupancy rate in the region was 52.0%, compared to the provincial average of 58.6%. The average room rate was $112.28, similar to the provincial average of $112.19.
