In 2007, the average individual income in the Slave Lake Region was $29,330, a 1.5% increase from 2006, but 31.1% less than the provincial average of $42,570 in 2007.  In the same year, average couple income1 in the Slave Lake Region was $84,510, a 1.7% increase from the year before, but 32.7% less than the provincial average of $125,485 in 2007.

The percentage of taxfilers that reported an individual gross income over $100,000 was 4.7%, while 31.6% of taxfilers identified as couples reported an income of over $100,000.
