Government of Alberta resources
The Government of Alberta has programs designed to help Alberta companies export their products and services.
Export Readiness Micro-Voucher Program
Though the Alberta Export Expansion Package, this fund provides eligible businesses with up to $5,000 for the development of a targeted international market strategy focused on one country.
Export Support Fund
Through the Alberta Export Expansion Package, this fund supports Alberta small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) looking to enter new international markets - or a country that currently represents 10% or less of the company's sales from the previous year. Eligible companies will be reimbursed between $2,000 and $20,000 per year for a select range of approved export activities.
Growing Forward 2 (GF2)
GF2 provides programs and services to achieve a profitable, sustainable, competitive, and innovative agriculture, agri-food and agri-products industry that is market-responsive, and that anticipates and adapts to changing circumstances and is a major contributor to the well-being of Canadians.

Government of Canada resources
The Government of Canada offers several programs to help exporters.
The CanExport program provides direct financial support to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Canada that are seeking to develop new export opportunities, particularly in high-growth priority markets and sectors. Launched in January 2016, this program will provide up to $50 million over five years to help increase the competitiveness of Canadian Companies.
