Help for employers

Alberta Employment and Immigration (E&I) works in cooperation with Alberta businesses and industry to help promote our province as the best place to live and work. We support Alberta employers in their efforts to attract, recruit and retain skilled foreign workers to fill labour shortages.

We provide information, education, and guidance on the process of attraction, recruitment and retention of foreign workers. Some of our initiatives in supporting employers are organizing marketing and recruitment activities around the world, organizing and delivering seminars across the province, providing information through the Immigrate to Alberta Information Service and assisting employers by providing links to other useful sources of information.
