Edmonton region festivals
Edmonton is known as Canada's Festival City for the number, variety and quality of the festivals held every year. The 30-plus annual festivals include:

- Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival, August
Calgary region festivals
The most famous festival in the Calgary region is the Calgary Stampede, a very large agricultural fair and rodeo held every July. Other festivals include:
