Alberta film
Alberta has been a filmmaking destination since the early 1900s both for locally produced films and as the location for international films.
Two award-winning examples are Ang Lee’s Brokeback Mountain, filmed in southern Alberta, and Clint Eastwood’s Unforgiven, filmed mainly in the badlands region in southeast Alberta.
