Alberta literature

Reading literature by local authors can help you understand more about life and culture in Alberta. Well-known Alberta authors who have set their fiction in the province include Rudy Wiebe, Robert Kroetsch and W.P. Kinsella.

Book clubs

Another way to get involved in your community is to join a book club. These are social groups that select a number of books to read throughout the year and then meet to discuss them. Your public library may have a list of local book clubs or you can search for Alberta Book Clubs.
